Wireless Cell Phones and their Features

The latest standard for battery life is two to five days on standby, and about four hours of talk time. Lots of different factors go into how long your Cell Phone Batteries will last. If you are in an area with bad coverage, the batteries will be drained prematurely. You can purchase Mobile Phone Accessories such as a high capacity Cell Phone Batteries or a Cell Phone Charger for your car.

If you plan on doing a lot of Web Surfing, Text Messaging or using the phones organizer makes sure the phone is a large enough screen to allow you to do these things. Wireless Cell Phones that have a screen that measures less than 2 inches diagonally will not be sufficient.

If Wireless Cell Phones has a backlight and screens that are not appealing to you, make sure that you can adjust the settings.

Touch screen phones are the latest craze, thanks to the introduction of the Apple iPhone. If you choose one of the Wireless Plans that include one of these, make sure you are comfortable with its functions.

If you select one of the Wireless Cell Phones that have a lot of features, be prepared to spend some time with the manual. Otherwise select a phone that is more basic, or that would come more naturally to you. If you plan on texting or using your phone for emailing, you may want to consider a model with a small typewriter style keyboard.

Wireless Cell Phones offer a lot of features (three-way calling, caller ID and call waiting) that deal with call management. These services can be enabled, depending on your plan. Other features of a phone allow you to restrict outgoing or incoming calls. Speakerphones can also be very convenient; some will also dual as a two-way radio.

If you will be making a lot of calls while driving, you want to select hands-free Mobile Phone Accessories. If you consider cords a pain to deal with, you would want to select a phone that supports Bluetooth Headsets.

Virtually all Wireless Cell Phones can download simple games and ring tones, and send and receive Instant Messages and E-mails. You can also access text only sites with a Mini Browser on most Wireless Cell Phones. Even though it will connect to the Internet at slow speeds, this can help you pass those unproductive moments of the day.
